A Message From Tomaze Toys Creator, Aysen.
Thank you for supporting Tomaze Toys and learning about The Purposeful Play System ™.
I created Tomaze Toys to empower parents and educators with the tools and knowledge for purposeful play. My goal is for children to experience that learning can be fun and happen in many different ways.
I’ve always believed that children can be taught at a very young age, well before they enter a classroom. They can even start developing core skills in the comfort of their own home.
When teaching young children, I realized traditional methods weren’t always effective. I sought ways to engage them using different materials, nature, and even their own bodies—helping them learn the shapes of letters or how to tell time without relying on paper and pencil. This led me to create toys tailored to my students' interests.
As parents and educators, it’s important to adapt to each child’s personality and learning style. As a result, with every child I worked with, I developed new ideas to teach specific skills effectively.
From making toys out of cardboard and clothespins, I’ve now taken my best prototypes and made them available to anyone who wants to introduce their children to toys that teach.
