About Us
Tomaze Toys was created by early childhood educators. We know how children actually enjoy learning at this stage: through play!
We believe that every child deserves engaging and effective educational toys during this critical developmental period, between the ages of 2.5 to 7 years old, when they begin schooling for the first time and are going through a period of rapid cognitive development.
Our toys are designed to teach children the skills necessary for early academics, but that also allow for different challenge levels, play styles, and open-ended creativity. We want to give parents the option of high quality educational toys throughout the beginning of their child's learning journey and beyond.
Meet the Founder, Aysen.
Aysen has both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a wealth of experience in various educational settings. From teaching in the classroom, to teaching other educators, to providing a private one-on-one, in-home teaching service for children ages 2.5 and up, she has honed a deep understanding of the unique needs of children as they begin their educational journey.
Aysen has always been passionate about incorporating play into the educational experience. Throughout her ongoing teaching career, she has made hundreds of toys for her students using recycled materials and things she had at home so that each student has toys made just for them.
By starting a new brand of educational toys, her goal is to make a meaningful impact on even more children's lives. Through Tomaze Toys, we can encourage positive learning experiences that will create lifelong learners – sparking their imagination and curiosity through the power of play.
